The MPS 320™ is a reliable and easy-to-operate microwave digestion system for PerkinElmer’s AA, ICP-OES, and ICP-MS instruments that accommodates a wide range of sample matrices and applications. It provides the choice of closed-vessel digestion, a requirement for working with volatile elements, or unique, easy-to-use and high-throughput auto-venting vessels, which allow digestion to continue when preset pressure is reached. And you can also select from four different rotor configurations depending on your needs. All of this, plus state-of-the-art temperature/pressure control and a variety of unique safety features.

The MR-85/32 configuration consists of our MR-85 auto-venting vessels (85 mL volume) in a 32-position rotor, perfect for high-throughput third-party testing labs that need:
The state-of-art auto-venting design of the MR-85 vessels allows digestion to continue when preset pressure is reached for optimal control over your digestion and also eliminates the use of expensive consumables, perfect for those labs where lower operating costs are critical. Plus, these vessels are so easy to use – with only three parts to work with – and they’re lightweight enough that anyone in the lab can handle 32 vessels at a time, no problem.
Other unique features of the MPS 320 microwave digestion system include:
