The Sample Capsule is made of aluminum and has a volume of 4 µL. Volatile liquids are placed inside a hermetically-sealed aluminum capsules to prevent the loss of sample. Then, the aluminum capsule is placed inside a standard tin capsule for analysis. Qty. 1000.

Two sizes of aluminum capsules are available. The smaller, with a volume of 4 mL, can hold sample weights up to 2.5 mg. The larger, with a 30 mL volume, accommodates samples up to 20 mg. Sealing of the larger capsule should be carried out in the presence of helium or argon to prevent entrapment of air.
