FL Lamps

The Xenon Source Lamp uses a pulsed xenon discharge of 7.3 W average power at 50 Hz. This reliable source produces very little ozone or heat but provides remarkable sensitivity due to its peak intensity exceeding 1 KW. Compatible with the LS 30/40/50 spectrometers.

The Festoon Lamp, 3 W is used along with the Xenon Source Lamp, 7.3 W to maintain even triggering and stability in our LS 30/40/45/50/50B/55 spectrometers. This lamp is also comapatible with the LC 240.

The Luminescence Sample Blocks Set includes six PMMA (polymethyl-methacrylate) blocks with emission characteristics in the wavelength ranges indicated as follows:

• 300 to 540 nm (anthracene/napthalene)
• 420 to 600 nm (ovalene)
• 300 to 400 nm (p-terphenyl)
• 400 to 600 nm (tetraphenyl/butadiene)
• 600 to 640 nm (European)
• 540 to 640 nm (Rhodamine B)
