Chiller noise in the lab can be distracting, tiring, irritating and stressful. But many people are unaware of the presence of environmental sound at damaging levels, or at the level on which sound becomes harmful.

The PYRIS LN₂ Dewar is a stainless steel vessel, 18 inches in diameter, 38 inches high, and about 95 lbs. This dewar has a operating range (under He purge) of -170° to 300°C. This dewar is compatible with the DSC 6000 with Autosampler, DSC 8000, and the Diamond/Jade DSC with Autosampler.

The Liquid Nitrogen Cryo Dewar is a double-walled container through which a coolant, e.g. liquid nitrogen, flows to expand the subambient operating range for the DMA 8000 to temperatures as low as -196°C. This dewar has a 50 L capacity and is optimal for more demanding cryogenic applications. It ships with an Automatic Cryo Kit (N5330259), and installation instructions.
